Sometimes I ask myself, how did I get into action figures? I think it was being at the right place at the right time, surrounded by the right people. I live in Southern California, which has always been a key spot for toy collectors and artists. In the 1990s I went to my first toy show and from then I was hooked. Not being satisfied with the action figures the big companies were producing, I began to customize my own action figures and accessories. Thanks to the internet, I found I was not alone.
